Today we're going to discuss a fun but also serious topic. I'd like everyone to write a one page paper on their favorite war movie and discuss what makes it important and give a background on the war that the movie is based around. Have fun with your paper but remember that these movies do not always portray the real things that have happened and the sacrifices men and women have made for their respective countries. If you do not have a permission slip signed to do this project, then I will have an alternative assignment for you. If you have any questions, feel free to talk to me in class.

World War 2
Hi class!
In our first discussion, I'd like you to answer two questions for me and explain your reasoning. What is your favorite time period in history? What makes it your favorite? For me, it's World War 2 through the Cold War. I picked this time period because it is a vital part of not only America's history but the world's history too. If the allies would have lost, who knows what the world would be like today. The same goes for the Cold War, it was a very tense and trying time between two super powers (USSR and America).

Intro to History
Hello class!
I'm your teacher for 4th grade history, my name is Mr. Johnson. I've been teaching this class for 3 years and I'm very excited to get started. This blog will help get everyone involved in a fun way. We will be having group discussions over course material as well as fun games and videos that pertain to what we're talking about in class.
